Happy Republic Day on 29 October!

On the anniversary of the proclamation of our Republic, we celebrate Republic Day on 29 October with great pride, joy and devotion.

We commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic and the leader of our struggle for independence, and all our heroes who fought to make this land our homeland, with respect, gratitude and prayers for their souls.

Atatürk’s philosophy, rooted in reason and science, his ideal of modernisation and his vision of full independence continue to illuminate our country’s future. The Republic is not merely a form of government; it is also a symbol of freedom, national sovereignty, equality and faith in a brighter future.
