Correct preparation and conditioning of oilseeds before mechanical pressing is an important process stage that directly affects oil yield, pressing performance and the properties of the press cake obtained.

Özmodern Makina designs oilseed preparation and conditioning plants according to the raw material, plant capacity, whether dehulling is applied, the pressing method and the requirements of the downstream process. In the preparation line, the raw material passes through cracking and flaking stages as required by the process to obtain a suitable physical structure. It is then conditioned in multi-deck cookers under controlled temperature, moisture and retention conditions to prepare it for mechanical pressing.
