Refined Oil Storage Tanks

Storing vegetable oils that have completed the refining process under suitable conditions before filling, packaging or shipment is important for preserving end-product quality.

Özmodern Makina designs and manufactures refined oil storage tanks taking into account the properties of the oil, storage capacity, storage temperature, plant layout and operating conditions.

For tanks in direct contact with refined oil, stainless steel is preferred with hygiene, product quality and long service life in mind. Depending on the project or customer request, tanks can also be manufactured from carbon steel where the properties of the stored product and the operating conditions allow.

Tank capacity, plate thicknesses, tank geometry, inlet and outlet connections, required heating systems, maintenance and cleaning points and instrumentation connections are defined according to the project requirements.

On request, we also select and supply pumps and transfer equipment, level and temperature measurement systems, heating systems, valves and fittings, and other required auxiliary equipment together with the tanks.

Engineering and Manufacturing

Refined oil storage tanks are engineered and manufactured according to plant capacity and the properties of the stored product. Tank connections to filling and packaging lines, the oil transfer system and the required automation infrastructure can be considered together with the overall process layout of the plant.

In addition to new plants, we develop project-specific solutions for increasing storage capacity, renewing existing tanks or creating new tank groups in operating facilities.
