SUNFLOWER SHELL SEPARATION PLANT
Another advantage of shelling systems is to direct production according to current commodity prices and to expand the customer portfolio by increasing product diversity.
• The crude oil that comes out of a crude oil facility that works by separating the shell is of high quality.
• The color pigments, waxy and gummy substances in the sunflower shell dissolve in hexane at the extraction stage and pass into the oil. This is the most important criteria affecting quality and cost in crude oil trade and refined oil manufacturing. Since most of the shell is separated in the dehulling process, many of these negative quality factors are neutralized.
• In crude oil plants, the spiral tightening screws of the crude oil presses spoil the structure of the spiral and shorten its life due to the abrasive cellulosic structure of the shell. With the dehulling process, this negative effect is eliminated and has a positive effect on costs.
• Press oil and extraction oil are produced at a quality close to each other in the plants where the dehulling process is carried out, which enables the use of press oil and extraction oil by mixing 1: 1.
• It is a quality fuel as it contains some oil in the shell. It contains approximately 4000-4500 kcal / kg of energy. Efficiency is high in shell burning boilers. There is no slag waste after burning. Only a white ash is produced, which is extremely important for waste storage from an operational perspective. In addition, the resulting ashes can be used as fertilizers, as they are rich in potassium.
ÖZMODERN MAKiNE has established and commissioned many facilities in Turkey and abroad with the capacity demanded by our customers with our experienced technical staff, taking into account all these advantages and the innovations in the developing vegetable oil technology.
